I have only further to observe that several considerations seriously affecting the carriage of the Queen's business are connected with this Case. The Governor therefore wishes me to recall to your recollection my despatch No.307 of the 25th June last, in which by His Excellency's direction I drew attention of Vice Consul Mayers to the expediency of not forwarding a demand for extradition to this Government unless generally
